Coconut oil offers multiple health benefits and is effective in the treatment of dandruff. This not only prevents dryness but also provides the scalp the required hydration. You need to mix 2 teaspoons of warm coconut oil with a little lemon juice. Massage your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes before you shampoo this.

Apple cider vinegar is considered as one of the best treatments for dandruff. This needs to be applied in a specific manner. You need to add a little of this vinegar to some water and keep it aside. This needs to be applied to wet hair after you have washed it. Rinse this off after around 15 minutes.

Curd is another ingredient which works well for the treatment of dandruff. Apply a little curd on your scalp and your hair. This needs to dry for an hour or so before washing it off with your regular shampoo.

  1. Use Orange Peel:

As known, orange peel contains magnesium, calcium, dietary fibers and Vitamin A. You need to squeeze a little lemon juice on an orange peel. Make a paste of this. This paste needs to be applied to your hair for a minimum of 30 minutes and can be washed off with your regular shampoo.

  1. Use Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera is known to have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. This also helps in exfoliating the scalp. Extract the gel directly from the aloe vera plant. Apply this on your scalp and wash it off with a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo after around 30 minutes.

  1. Use Tea Tree Oil:

Tea tree oil is effective I fighting off fungal and bacterial infections due to the properties. All you need to do is add a few drops of this oil to your regular shampoo and wash.

  1. Use Neem:

Neem is known to have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. As known, dandruff can be due to a fungal infection and using neem to cure this works well.

  • You can follow some tips to get rid of dandruff permanently.
  • Make sure you use the right shampoo
  • Use only your comb to brush your hair
  • Ensure you have a head-shower every 3 days so that the scalp is kept clean.
  • Cover your hair when travelling
  • Take enough rest and learn to relax.
  • Use only herbal products for curing dandruff.
