Home Remedies for Kidney Stones: Going through pregnancy is not easy for any woman. There is stress not only for the physical being but also mentally. The toxins which cause kidney stones can be cleared by the intake of celery. This can also flush out the toxins, and increase the chance of the stone being flushed out.

You can add celery seeds to your tea or go for celery juice.

  1. Pomegranate Juice:

This juice reduces the risk of any kidney stones in the future and can also lower the acidity of the urine. This pomegranate juice works as a detoxifying agent and clears out the toxins which cause kidney stones.

  1. Drink Water:

Drink more than your normal intake of water so that flushing out the kidney stones gets easier. Instead of the usual 8, try drinking 12 glasses of water. Observe your urine, these needs to be pale yellow in color.

  1. Basil Juice:

The acetic acid in Basil helps in reducing the pain as this breaks down the kidney stones. The anti-inflammatory agents and the anti-oxidants present in basil juice ensure the health of your kidney.

You can use dried or even fresh basil leaves to make tea and this can be consumed multiple times in a day. These needs to be consumed for only 6 weeks at one time or else there are possibilities of other complications.

  • Reduce the intake of foods of high oxalate like dark green leafy vegetables, chocolates and nuts.
